Fireworks displays are great, and I enjoy them. However, what I find quite anti-social is when people buy about an hour’s worth of supermarket bought cheap phosphorus tins and set them off really late at night, especially if it’s not Guy Fawkes Night or New Year’s Eve. Even people who do set it off on NYE at 1 or 2 in the morning!? Local fireworks displays are great, but when you have some idiotic neighbours who decides to deploy an anti-aircraft barrage meaning every young child in a 500m radius and every single cat/dog is cowering inside in fear, that kinda makes you a jerk.
