Samurai Shodown was a beat ’em up back in 1993, but set in 1800s Japan. Yeah sure most the characters weren’t samurai per se, and there’s even monsters in it, but it’s a beat ’em up I’ve been dying to try out for a while now. Naturally, it’s a knacky game to play like Fatal Fury is and this version isn’t perhaps as fluid as I would probably like, but it still is quite fun to play. I take on the normal mode as Hattori Hanzo and Haohmaru but I get my butt kicked towards the end! Please enjoy!
