Since I’ve already done the other two Golden Axe games on the Mega Drive, it makes sense to complete the trilogy and play the final instalment of the series. To be honest, it’s probably the weakest of the three games and is way too tough in single player. I have played in local co-op and the experience is much better. However, we’re still in lockdown and I’m playing by myself! Set in the events much after the first two games, the Prince of Darkness has risen in the absence of Death Adder to terrorise the land.
