Skyline

You know that feeling when you just wish you could have the last couple of hours of your life back? That’s the feeling Skyline gave me. In fact it was so awful, I can’t even be bothered to write about it. If you want to know what I think of the film, and what the film is actually about, read my review of Cloverfield. They’re pretty much exactly the same film, only Skyline has no shaky handycam perspective.

I’ve heard some pretty awful stuff about Skyline, but saying it’s as bad as Cloverfield?! Ooh that’s bad! Isn’t Battle: Los Angeles complete tripe too? The game on XBLA isn’t bad though!

My dad paid a tenner for this when it came out without having seen the film (stupid I know) having liked district 9 and independence day, which this film has been compared to, but having watched it he said and I quote “I rather have root canal whilst the dentist kicks me in the balls and takes a dump in my mouth then to ever even think about putting that DVD in the player, let alone watch the fillm again!” I’d hazard a guess that it’s pretty shit! 🙂

Yeah, it’s awful. The ending’s the worst bit, it’s even worse than the ending to Cloverfield! It’s like what I mentioned in Repo Men, it’s almost worth sitting through the shite just to see how appallingly bad the ending is!!
