Tonight I was sent the demo for this game currently on Kickstarter called the Five Gods of Kung Fu. Set in the pixellated style of old martial arts films, the demo lets you attempt the mastery of the snake style of Kung Fu as you seek to avenge your family. Edit: The gameplay is much smoother than this video, it turned out quite jumpy after being uploaded to YouTube!

My thoughts? Not a bad game. Its interesting that the button inputs are sequential combo based rather like Tekken, in favour of the usual button mashing which happens on games like this. I mean sure, it’s a tiny bit rough around the edges but not a bad game going for an 8-bit style.
