Pure: Underdog Achievement

While I still harbour a hatred for Ranked Match related achievements, this one is just too stupid. Not quite the same as the 2010 World Cup one, but this one is up there with the stupidest ones ever.
They don't half make you do some stupid jumps in this game...
Basically in essence this achievement is asking you to win, in a ranked match, a race riding the shittiest equipment in the game, against someone who has a souped up, almost unbeatable model. Lets think about this objectively. You’re asking me to basically beat someone who is driving a Bugatti Veyron, in a Nissan Micra? Yes it’s that stupid. I cannot stress how awful the D rank machines are but then to go race some other win at all cost wanker online? Give me a break.
Don’t get me wrong, this game isn’t very good at all and in fact I got mine free with an Xbox Elite, and only completed it because I was snowed in last year but it doesn’t take away the fact that this game isn’t exactly the best and making you do achievements in a ranked environment, with a small online contingent, meaning the only people left on it are the die hard virgins of the game, this achievement will be nigh on impossible.

I suppose that a lot of the ranked match ones which are ridiculous like this, the only way to do them is cheat (i.e. have a mate do the race against you in a rank A machine and just not bother trying).
However, that completely misses the point of ACHIEVEMENTS, if the only realistic way to manage it is to cheat.
However, I think I am going to need to cheat (although only a TINY amount) on Red Dead in a bit – not a big cheat though – just finding out where all the hideouts are because I can’t be bothered to troll across the entire map to find them all!

Sounds like you’ll need some help there SFC. May I suggest you activate your account with Rockstar and in the RDR part, it has an interactive map which shows you what you need to do for the full 100%. This includes hideouts and locations.
