This is an almost impossibly hard achievement, now I’m pretty good with FPS games but I just cannot get anywhere near to this achievement. At the end of the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare game there’s a bonus level whereby you play a special forces team rescuing a hostage from a plane mid flight. On the easier difficulties this is entirely doable. However, to obtain this achievement you have to complete this mission on the highest difficulty, Veteran.

easy with 2 minutes on the clock...

On Veteran difficulty the game reduces the time you have before you fail to 60 seconds. This sounds like a lot of time, but to get through at least 25 enemies on two floors to then reach the hostage who is being used as a human shield by the ‘boss’, who you have to headshot with one bullet in that time is excessively difficult.

Don’t forget that on Veteran difficulty it only takes 1 or 2 well placed shots from any enemy to kill you, so you can run; in which case you’ll get shot and die. Or you can take your time and kill the enemies; in which case you’ll not get half way by the time the 60 seconds are up. It’s near impossible to find the correct mixture of both so that you get through the plane without dying and on time. I’ve wasted several hours on this one and not even got to the hostage at the end…
