For your information, the name Synyster Graves is a portmanteau of two of my favourite musical influences… Synyster Gates of Avenged Sevenfold and Michale Graves, formerly of The Misfits. So it’s kind of a homage. I do also use the pseudonym SynRaptor for forums and twitter as well as this site as having synystergraves@synystergraves was way too much of a mouthful.

Update, March 2020: I wrote lots of this material as an angry, young single man. Since turning 30 I’m not married and a father, so I’ve chilled out a lot more and definitely got wiser, but I don’t really want to axe lots of the material on here as it serves as a timely reminder of what my life used to be. I’m a lot more mature and responsible now and I’ve started using my real name now. So apologies if any old content offends you, chances are I don’t agree with it so vehemently anymore!

Video games and most recently learning magic make up the majority of the articles here, well certainly for my posts but I have friends who do contribute. As of 2019 I’ve overhauled the content on here because I’m bored of solely hiding behind the psuedonym that I started my own YouTube channel.

I made this website because its a springboard to actually voice things I notice and usually subsequently annoy me. So first and foremost this is a ranting website.  All the articles are sarcastic and satirical by nature and the views expressed on the site are purely credited to the writer of the post. Fundamentally some content could be deemed controversial but if you don’t like it, don’t carry on reading! There are a lot of Zero Wing references contained within this website, so if you don’t quite get the poor English grammar written, it is intentional!
