It’s like rain on your wedding day…

I’ve just had a thought. Torres always scored against Chelsea so he got tapped up by them for about 18 months before acrimoniously leaving in the circumstances that he did. But what happened on Torres’ debut last season?

So…the pattern is that whoever scores for Liverpool, defeating Chelsea in the process, becomes the next player to get bribed behind the scenes to secure a suspicious transfer? I’m noticing a pattern here… I think Roman Abramovitch plays Championship Manager a bit too much…

(p.s. Torres’ face is still brilliant as he realises he definitely made the right choice in career move)
